Photo Consent

On occasion Trinity Dance may take photographs of the children to celebrate their achievements in a session or share the good work they have been doing.

We would like to ask for your permission to use these images on the Trinity Dance social media pages with the following conditions in place:

1. This form is valid for the period of time your child attends the club or until a subsequent form completed and signed by the parent is submitted. Please contact Trinity Dance if you wish to withdraw consent at any time
2. The images they take will be of activities that show the teams, club and children in a positive light
3. Children will not be individually named in the posts
4. Trinity Dance will take all reasonable measures to ensure the images are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended
5. The images will solely be used on the Trinity Dance social media pages @_trinitydance_ on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter/X

Social Media Policy

This Agreement is to be read by parents/guardians and all Trinity Dance participants (of an appropriate age) in order to ensure the obligations are understood before signing.

Trinity Dance understands the importance of and need for the responsible use of social media and their responsibility for helping to safeguard young people in the sports of dance, gymnastics and cheerleading.

We ask all members, parents and people in positions of trust to read the policy and ensure that they, their child or the young people in their association have understood the importance of the policy and the expectations on them in relation to their use of social media.

I understand that:

1. I am responsible for my behaviour when using social media and texts relating to a member, connected participant or employee of Trinity Dance and the sports of dance, gymnastics and cheerleading
2. I understand that my use of the internet and social media sites through Trinity Dance can be monitored and logged and made available to the club and any external agencies involved with the regulation of internet usage
3. I will not post or give out any personal details, such as name, address, age and contact numbers, either of myself or any other person. I will not arrange to meet anyone without the knowledge and consent of my parent/carer
4. I will not deliberately browse, download, access or post any material that could be offensive, threatening or illegal
5. I agree to report material, posts or contacts which I find upsetting or cause me concern
6. I will not take part in any craze/challenge or otherwise that may be deemed harmful, inappropriate or offensive
7.  I agree that I will not speak negatively about or to any other individual dance, gymnastics or cheerleading participant, coach, team, parent or otherwise on any social media channel and I understand that by doing so I will be asked to leave Trinity Dance
8.  I understand that if there is need for anyone to take action as a result of my use of social media in the sports of dance, gymnastics and cheerleading my parent/carer may be contacted
